Hello! Meet the Plush Huts family...

Heather and Andrew have lived together in the farm cottage adjacent to Plush Huts for over 20 years, with ties back to Andrews family for over 100 years. Their Border Collie, Millie, is their trusty security guard!

Over the years, friends have frequently visited the tucked away spot and wanted to experience more of the beautiful Kent countryside surrounding them and all it has to offer. Identifying that there was a local need for good quality countryside accommodation, Andrew embarked on a design and build project for the huts and enclosure for over 3 years.

After planning was gained in 2017, the building began and Andrew started the ambitious project of building the Plush Huts. The aim was always to make a home away from home experience, creating comfortable interiors with incredible surroundings.

Alongside the Plush Huts, many of the features and activities that guests are welcome to use, are also homemade in Andrew’s workshop. Look out for his fantastic steel chimenea and the communal ‘Mini’ Bar, complete with tyre bar stools.

Plush Huts was established in 2020, with the launch of the first hut, The Bolthole. The newest hut, The Warren, opened in July 2021 and is now ready to be enjoyed by you!
